Shining Medals

Since I have been away on holiday and after that ill for one week, I am behind in jobs, which means I do not have time to visit the popular interior design fair Formex over the weekend. Instead, I try to find my own inspiration. Tom Dixon is a good source to do that.

Tom Dixon is a British design company, and is noted for the use of raw materials. I love his lamps, specially the Void lamp in brass, stainless steel and copper. The lights are hand polished to create a mirrored surface and then lacquered to maintain a high gloss finish. Like medals.
